What's your favorite fairy-tale retold?
Name a book and a movie of your favorite fairy-tale adaptation.
If you don’t know any, it can be something like Pans Labyrinth/Mirrormask, as long as it has a sort of fairy-tale feel to it.
Mine:
Book- ‘Confessions of an Ugly Stepsister: A Novel’ and the Grimm brothers collection.
Movie- ‘Snow Queen (2002)’ or ‘Snow White: A Tale of Terror’
Anything found in the "Stinky Cheese Man and other Fairly Stupid Tales" book is great.
Also, the book "The True Story of the Three Little Pigs" is a great one too.
As for a movie, "Everafter" would have to be my favorite re-told fairy tale (based on Cinderella).

Shrek II,… idk what fairy tale its based on but im pretty sure there was a story very similar to it… about dumb green ogres, talking donkeys and a cat who uses his kitty eyes to get ppl to do what he wants
